Hov was forced to sell his shares in the Brooklyn Nets so he could launch his Roc Nation Sports management agency to avoid a conflict of interest. Jay Z embodies so much of what makes New York New York. A kid from a tough neighborhood who grows up in public housing, overcomes lots of bad influences on the street, never lets go of his dream, makes it to the top — and then keeps going, pursuing new outlets for his creativity and ambition. When no one would sign him to a record contract, he created his own label and built a music empire — before going on to design clothing lines, open sports bars and, most recently, represent professional athletes. He’s an artist-entrepreneur who stands at the center of culture and commerce in 21st century America, and his influence stretches across races, religions and regions. He’s never forgotten his roots — “Empire State of Mind” was a love song to our city — and as a co-owner of the NBA Nets, he helped bring a major league sports team back to Brooklyn, not far from his old neighborhood. In nearly everything he’s tried, he’s found success. (He even put a ring on Beyoncé.) And in doing so, he’s proved that the American Dream is alive and well.
Drake made an appearance on the Keep It Thoro show and finally let loose on Chris Brown. He first spoke on his upcoming album, “Nothing Was The Same”, and the recording process for it. He also speaks on his recent releases ‘Started From The Bottom’ and ’5AM In Toronto’, the controversy over Rick Ross’ lyrics, the OVO brand, moving to Los Angeles, Lil Wayne’s health scare and much more. He also lets us know that we will be getting 2 new tracks from him next week.
He went on to speak on the relationship with The Weeknd and addresses rumors of them having problems. He also let us know that he has no problems with Pusha T. Finally, he broke his silence about the beef with Chris Brown and sent some shots at him:
“His insecurities are the reason I make better music than him…I’m more popping than him…At one point the woman he loves fell into my lap and I did what a real nigga would do and treated her with respect.”

The identity of a toddler who was abandoned on the front porch of a home in an Anderson County subdivision is still unknown.
The child appears to be 2 to 3 years old, according to investigators.
Anderson County sheriff’s spokesman Chad McBride said there is a “high probability she’s not from this area.”
McBride said Anderson County law enforcement typically gets tips on even the smallest crimes, things as insignificant as lawnmower thefts.
“Not one tip has come in so far to the Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers. Nothing. And that’s highly unusual,” McBride said. “She could be from the other side of the country for all we know, we just don’t know.”
Because of the child’s surgical scars, a doctor from Greenville Health System will check her out to see if they can figure out what type of surgery she had.
“We’re going to reach down to the Charleston hospital today, where they perform a lot of surgeries on kids,” McBride said. ”We’re just trying anything to figure it out,” McBride said. “How in the world did she get here and who in the world is she?”
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that someone rang the doorbell at the home on Brook Forest Drive in the Nevitt Forest subdivision at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. When Roy Campbell opened the door, he found the baby girl in a stroller and no sign of who had left her.
