(News) Mannie Fresh Says Drake & Lil Wayne are “Not Big Tymers”

Mannie Fresh addressed Birdman’s comment that Drake & Lil Wayne would be involved in the new Big Tymers album in his place, explaining that while he respected the Cash Money artists, they are not the Big Tymers.

On last week’s edition of Rap Fix Live, Birdman controversially revealed that while there would be a new Big Tymers album, it would not involve founding member Mannie Fresh. Even more controversially, Baby hinted that Lil Wayne and Drake may take Mannie’s place in the former duo.

Welp, here it is! Today we finally get the anticipated new single from Khaled “No New Friends” that he built so much hype up around all weekend. I didn’t know Weezy appeared on it, but here it is. Drake did mention that this started out as the remix to ‘Started From The Bottom’ but was then given to DJ Khaled.

Drake made an appearance on the Keep It Thoro show and finally let loose on Chris Brown. He first spoke on his upcoming album, “Nothing Was The Same”, and the recording process for it. He also speaks on his recent releases ‘Started From The Bottom’ and ’5AM In Toronto’, the controversy over Rick Ross’ lyrics, the OVO brand, moving to Los Angeles, Lil Wayne’s health scare and much more. He also lets us know that we will be getting 2 new tracks from him next week.

He went on to speak on the relationship with The Weeknd and addresses rumors of them having problems. He also let us know that he has no problems with Pusha T. Finally, he broke his silence about the beef with Chris Brown and sent some shots at him:

“His insecurities are the reason I make better music than him…I’m more popping than him…At one point the woman he loves fell into my lap and I did what a real nigga would do and treated her with respect.”
