Justin Timberlake’s second single off “The 20/20 Experience” is certified platinum.

Justin Timberlake’s winning streak continues. The artist’s comeback proved to be a very fruitful one, after selling aroud 980k copies of his album opening week, The 20/20 Experience went platinum quickly after.

Now the singer has another platinum achievement to add to his growing list, with his single “Mirrors” reaching platinum status today. This is Justin’s eighth solo song to go platinum in the United States.

(News) Jada Pinkett Smith Defends Justin Bieber

Jada Pinkett Smith called out the paparazzi and entertainment media for “bullying” young artists. The singer/actress wrote a Facebook post after footage surfaced of teen singer Justin Bieber being harassed by the paparazzi in London. Smith’s son Jaden is Bieber’s opening act.

“Are we bullying our young artists?” asked Smith. “How can we ask for our young stars to have a high level of responsibility if we are not demonstrating that same level of responsibility towards them?…It is as if we have forgotten what it means to be young or even how to behave like good ol’ grown folk.”

“Is it okay to continually attack and criticize a famous 19-year-old who is simply trying to build a life, exercise his talents while figuring out what manhood and fame is all about as he carries the weight of supporting his family as well as providing the paychecks to others who depend on him to work so they can feed their families as well?” she says.

(News) Justin Timberlake Addresses His Kanye Diss

Justin Timberlake’s “got rappers acting dramatic” lyrical change during his performance on “Suit & Tie” last weekend led to everyone assuming the the singer was referencing hip-hop star Kanye West and his onstage diss of the song. During an appearance on “Late Night” with Jimmy Fallon, Timberlake was asked about the crack.

“Did it seem that way?” Timberlake asked in mock disbelief. “I don’t remember that… Did I change a line? It is live. You know, really, everyone, keep calm.”

He then addressed Kanye and the audience. “Let me just, for the record… I absolutely love Kanye,” he said. “So there’s that. We love Kanye, right?”
