Stephen Curry had an amazing night last night, but my Knicks overcame Curry’s NBA season-high 54 points to beat the Warriors 109-105. Curry was 18 of 28 from the field, finishing one 3-pointer shy of the NBA record with 11 in 13 attempts, in a performance that had the crowd hanging on his every shot.
Steph Curry’s 54 points are the 3rd most for a visiting player at MSG since 1968. The other 2? Michael Jordan (55) & Kobe Bryant (61).

New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert has had alot of time on his hands since he is out with a knee injury since last year. Most Knicks fans like myself can’t wait until he is back out there on the court. In the mean time Shumpert has been in the studio rapping and came out with a studio verison of the Knicks Anthem he rapped about back in October.

Amar’e Stoudemire would accept a role as the New York Knicks’ sixth man if asked, two sources with knowledge of Stoudemire’s thinking told ESPNNewYork.com.

This is the game a lot of us have been waiting for and it’s finally here! It was rescheduled from Nov. 1st due to Hurricane Sandy. The Knicks head over to Brooklyn to take on the Nets tonight at 7p (you can watch it on TNT).
The Knicks defense started off red hot this year but the past couple games they’ve taken a slump. One of their most defensive presence’s is guard Iman Shumpert who went out with a torn ACL during the game one of the playoffs last season. We haven’t heard much about his recovery but he might finally have a return date in mind.
Shumpert told The Post recently his target date for return is January, not December. The former Georgia Tech guard will be a dynamo to aid the Knicks’ on-the-ball defense and take pressure off Brewer. Before suffering a torn ACL, Shumpert was among the best perimeter defenders in basketball in his rookie season.
