etick_g_pjax07_850

I guess Phil Jackson just wanted to remind us that he’s a boss?!  Lol. We got it Zen Master, don’t worry.  How dope is it that he can share this picture?!  It’s 13 NBA championship rings that include two he won as a Knicks’ defensive specialist.  He should have pulled out Hov’s line, “Any Questions?” Lol.

(Sports) Damn!! Kobe Bryant Graphic Picture From His Surgery!

012213-bryant-kobe-600

Kobe Bryant just shared a very graphic picture from his recent surgery on his achilles’ tendon.  It’s gross and pretty cool at the same time.  He hasn’t been super active on Twitter lately, but when the kid is back — the kid is back!  Lol.

PS – People are complaining on Twitter that it’s too graphic.  So remember I warned you (I didn’t think it was THAT bad tho). Continue reading

(Sports) Zach Randolph Disses Blake Griffin..Again

Blake_Griffin_gets_tangled_up_with_Zach_Randolph

Randolph was asked about how physical the series with OKC has been so far. He was glad to answer, and also throw a jab at Blake Griffin in the process. “They are tough. They’re tougher than the Clippers — Ibaka and Perkins — they’re tougher than Blake. So yeah, they’re tough and they’re strong.” Perkins & Ibaka are definitely no joke as far as being physical. If the Clippers re-sign Chris Paul this offseason, then there will be plenty more battles between Memphis and the Clippers, and mainly Randolph and Blake for years to come. I like how the question had nothing to do with Griffin, but Randolph still found a way to diss him, lol.

(Sports) Brooklyn Nets In Search For New Coach…Guess Who?!

I can’t even get excited for this because it seems as though whenever there is a head coach position open, this name comes up. I’m a Heat fan, but I would love to see this guy coach again.  We heard the rumor over the weekend, but now there has been contact. Check out who the Brooklyn Nets are interested in to replace P.J. Carlesimo.

The Brooklyn Nets have contacted Phil Jackson about replacing the outgoing P.J. Carlesimo, according to a source. Continue reading

(Sports) Video:Bulls Marco Belinelli fined $15,000 by NBA

NBA: Playoffs-Chicago Bulls at Brooklyn Nets

Marco Belinelli has been fined $15,000 by the NBA for doing the “big balls dance” made famous by Sam Cassell, according to USA Today.

Belinelli pulled out the move after hitting a big three-pointer in the dying minutes of Game 7 on Saturday, when the Bulls went on to beat the Nets and advanced to the second round.

Here’s video of the ballsy move by Belinelli:

(Sports) Damn! How Much Dwyane Wade Pays His Ex-Wife A Month!

dwyane-wade-and-wife

I never ever count other people’s pockets, but when the information pops up – you can’t help but to look at it!  This information never came out before, but because of a pending case it has now been revealed.  Money can be such a blessing, yet such an evil thing.

Wade, 31, is paying ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade a whopping $25,000-a-month.

That’s in addition to her living and travel expenses, estimated at about $10,000-a-month.

Oh, yes. There was that little $1 million lump sum payment when the divorce became final last year.

And all of that is just a down payment!

Keep in mind that Wade has custody of their two young children, with some visitations for Funches-Wade.

The paperwork appeared in response to the ex-wife’s request to spend more time with her two boys.

But while the divorce is final, some issues are still being debated.

A trial is scheduled in the Windy City for early July to determine the distribution of marital assets.

The money that Wade already paid, and is still paying, is expected to be chump change compared to what he’ll have to pay, I’m told.

Funches-Wade is asking for half of everything Wade made between the time he was drafted by the Miami Heat until their divorce. He’s currently on a $107 million contract.

(Sports) Charles Barkley Weighs In on Brittney Griner Playing In The NBA

IFWT_Brittney-Griner-51

There’s fans that would love to see Brittney Griner play in the NBA and other fans that wouldn’t.  The ones that wouldn’t have different reasons (some make sense and some are just stupid).  It’s been a topic of discussion since Mark Cuban said he would give her a chance with the Mavs.  She definitely has talent, but is playing with men the right place for her?!

Patrick: “Uh, the Brittney Griner, let’s say you’re a rookie and you’re in the D-League and Brittney Griner is coming into play, how would you treat her?”

Barkley: ”Well, gosh, she can’t play with guys. So, I wouldn’t even worry about that. She can’t play against guys. I mean, you’re going to go at her, probably aggressively, cause you’re offended that she’s trying to play against you cause it’s kind of an insult to you. But she can’t play with men  and I think whether she plays against a guy who has no…cause most of those guys, let’s…who are we kidding? Ninety to 95 percent of those guys who pay in the summer league are never going to play in the NBA.”

Patrick: ”But I’m looking at what Mark Cuban did and I said, ‘I know that he’s doing something. He’s a marketing guy. He’s a sharp guy’ but then you had Geno Auriemma, the UConn (women’s) coach, who said it’s a sham if you bring her in, what I would hate…”

Barkley (interrupts): ”I agree with Geno. I agree with Geno. I mean, if you brought her in, yeah they’d sell some tickets to the summer league which I don’t understand what type of loser would go to the summer league anyway. But I agree with Geno 100 percent. A girl can’t play against men. Listen is just a publicity…Mark’s one of my great friends, great friends. But a woman can’t play against a man.”
