Professor Dr. Friedrich Bischinger, a lung specialist in Austria, says picking your nose and eating it is healthy for two reasons: 1) With the finger you can get to places you just can’t reach with a handkerchief, keeping your nose far cleaner. 2) Eating the dry remains of what you pull out is a great way of strengthening the body’s immune system. The nose is a filter in which a great deal of bacteria is collected, and when this mixture arrives in the intestines it works just like a medicine.
Although it won’t harm you, you may be a social outcast if done in public so consider it as a private practice.

Hours later, he was located near the Broad River Correctional Institution high on LSD and naked, according to Hawkins.
Hawkins said all four teens had been doing drugs. He did not know the ages or gender of the others involved.
Charges are pending against the male teen, Hawkins said. He said the search was a huge expense for taxpayers because all of the resources used.
Columbia firefighters, Columbia police officers, Department of Natural Resources officers and State Forestry Commission officials helped with the search. SLED also utilized its helicopter.
GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) – North Carolina A&T State University has lifted a lockdown imposed after reports of a man with a rifle on campus.
The university updated its website Friday afternoon to advise students and staff that the lockdown was no longer in effect.
Prior to the lockdown being lifted, A&T spokeswoman Nettie Rowland said no shots had been fired and that police had a description of the suspect.
The historically black college has more than 10,000 students and more than 2,000 employees. Rowland said it also hosts scores of Guilford County high school students who attend an on-campus high school focused on math, science and technology.
Sumter, SC (WLTX) – Two men have been found shot to death at a home in Sumter.
Sumter County deputies say just after 1:40 a.m. they got a call of shots fired along Confederate Road. When they arrived at the location, a woman flagged them down and took them to a home where she said her son and nephew had been fighting, and they both might be dead.
Once inside, officers discovered the bodies of two men in the hallway of the home and signs of what appeared to be a struggle.
According to an incident report, officers say they also saw a large quantity marijuana and spent rounds of ammunition on the floor.
Police say they haven’t determined what caused the incident or if other people are involved. However, they do say they don’t believe the men shot each other because they did not find a weapon at the scene, and they think it could be a home invasion.
Rick Ross just learned a hard lesson about rape and money … you embrace one, you lose the other … because he was just DUMPED by Reebok.
As TMZ previously reported… Ross has taken a ton of heat for his song, U.O.E.N.O … in which he happily sings, “Put Molly [Ecstasy] all in the champagne. She ain’t even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain’t even know it.” Translation — date rape.
Reebok tells TMZ … “Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so.”
Reebok goes on: “While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse.”
The following story is from a former music industry executive that chooses to remain anonymous to protect his & his family’s safety. No way to confirm if its true or not, but it will def make you wonder. Check it out below.
After more than 20 years, I’ve finally decided to tell the world what I witnessed in 1991, which I believe was one of the biggest turning point in popular music, and ultimately American society. I have struggled for a long time weighing the pros and cons of making this story public as I was reluctant to implicate the individuals who were present that day. So I’ve simply decided to leave out names and all the details that may risk my personal well being and that of those who were, like me, dragged into something they weren’t ready for.
Between the late 80’s and early 90’s, I was what you may call a “decision maker” with one of the more established company in the music industry. I came from Europe in the early 80’s and quickly established myself in the business. The industry was different back then. Since technology and media weren’t accessible to people like they are today, the industry had more control over the public and had the means to influence them anyway it wanted. This may explain why in early 1991, I was invited to attend a closed door meeting with a small group of music business insiders to discuss rap music’s new direction. Little did I know that we would be asked to participate in one of the most unethical and destructive business practice I’ve ever seen.
The meeting was held at a private residence on the outskirts of Los Angeles. I remember about 25 to 30 people being there, most of them familiar faces. Speaking to those I knew, we joked about the theme of the meeting as many of us did not care for rap music and failed to see the purpose of being invited to a private gathering to discuss its future. Among the attendees was a small group of unfamiliar faces who stayed to themselves and made no attempt to socialize beyond their circle. Based on their behavior and formal appearances, they didn’t seem to be in our industry. Our casual chatter was interrupted when we were asked to sign a confidentiality agreement preventing us from publicly discussing the information presented during the meeting. Needless to say, this intrigued and in some cases disturbed many of us. The agreement was only a page long but very clear on the matter and consequences which stated that violating the terms would result in Continue reading →

Jay-Z assembles an all-star cast for the soundtrack to The Great Gatsby. The Roc Nation mogul, who serves as executive producer of the film and soundtrack, has worked closely with writer/producer/director Baz Luhrmann on the eclectic project over the past two years, blending the Jazz Age sensibility of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel with hip-hop and traditional jazz.
“The Great Gatsby is that classic American story of one’s introduction to extravagance, decadence, and illusion,” said Jay-Z. “It’s ripe for experimentation and ready to be interpreted with a modern twist. The imagination Baz brought to Moulin Rouge! made it a masterpiece, and Romeo + Juliet’s score wasn’t just in the background; the music became a character. This film’s vision and direction has all the makings of an epic experience.”
Jay-Z’s own “No Church in the Wild” is included in the film, along with a new song entitled “100$ Bill.” The first single will be the haunting “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey.
The diverse lineup also includes original music from Fergie, Q Tip, Florence + The Machine, and will.i.am. Beyoncé and André 3000 duet on a cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black,” Emeli Sandé remakes Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love,” and Jack White reinterprets U2′s “Love Is Blindness.”

DMX is facing a new lawsuit this morning after being sued by a sports bar in South Carolina.
According to TMZ, Dark Man was booked to appear on August 25, 2012 at the Owl’s Nest Sports Lounge to do a meet and greet for the bargain basement price of $3000. X failed to show and now the sports lounge wants their money back, plus expenses.
Owls Nest filed a lawsuit in a South Carolina court. They’re seeking repayment of their $3000 back, plus $45 for several bottles of gin and $50 for a bartender.
X was arrested last month in Greer, South Carolina for driving without a license.
Hip hop fans have been obsessed with Illuminati rumors for the past few years now. Roc Nation rapper J. Cole admitted in a recent interview that he was one of those people convinced every upper-echelon rapper was a part of some evil secret society prior to joining Jay-Z’s label.
“You know, it’s crazy. Before I got a deal and became apart of the industry, I was one of those people,” Cole told The Smoking Section. “Like, I wasn’t on it all the time, but I’m a conspiracy theorist. Like, I believed those videos. So there were times where I’d look at a video that’s like, ‘Jay-Z, a member of The Illuminati!’ and I would be like, ‘Ohhhh! Like, yoooo! How is…’ and then you meet him, and you see how things work and you’re like, ‘Nah, man. That’s bogus.’ That’s somebody who’s so far away from the truth and what’s actually happening, just creating something. They’re probably high. But nah, it’s not true.”
You remember after Destiny’s Child Superbowl performance, Keyshia Cole had some slick sh*t to say on Twitter. Recently when asked about it, Kelly Rowland didn’t bite her tongue on how she felt about Keyshia’s comments in regards to their performance. Check below the pic for her quote.
“It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up,” she said. “It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she said.”
