Christmas comes early for Beyoncé fans. In the biggest surprise move of the year, the pop superstar quietly released her fifth studio album to iTunes on Friday.
“Surprise!” tweeted Bey moments after the midnight launch.
The visual album, simply titled BEYONCÉ, features 14 songs and 17 videos, with contributions from Jay Z, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, Pharrell, Timbaland, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and even her daughter Blue Ivy.
The videos were shot throughout the world in New York, Paris, Sydney, and Rio de Janeiro during her worldwide “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour.”
“I didn’t want to release my music the way I’ve done it,” said Bey. “I am bored with that. I feel like I am able to speak directly to my fans. There’s so much that gets between the music, the artist and the fans. I felt like I didn’t want anybody to give the message when my record is coming out. I just want this to come out when it’s ready and from me to my fans.”
She has also premiered the first part of “Self-Titled,” a mini documentary feature that offers a glimpse into the entire project. It details her mind-set and artistic vision throughout the making of BEYONCÉ.
See the tracklisting below and head to iTunes to get your copy for $15.99. Individual songs will be available for purchase on December 20.

The identity of a toddler who was abandoned on the front porch of a home in an Anderson County subdivision is still unknown.
The child appears to be 2 to 3 years old, according to investigators.
Anderson County sheriff’s spokesman Chad McBride said there is a “high probability she’s not from this area.”
McBride said Anderson County law enforcement typically gets tips on even the smallest crimes, things as insignificant as lawnmower thefts.
“Not one tip has come in so far to the Sheriff’s Office or Crimestoppers. Nothing. And that’s highly unusual,” McBride said. “She could be from the other side of the country for all we know, we just don’t know.”
Because of the child’s surgical scars, a doctor from Greenville Health System will check her out to see if they can figure out what type of surgery she had.
“We’re going to reach down to the Charleston hospital today, where they perform a lot of surgeries on kids,” McBride said. “We’re just trying anything to figure it out,” McBride said. “How in the world did she get here and who in the world is she?”
The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said that someone rang the doorbell at the home on Brook Forest Drive in the Nevitt Forest subdivision at about 11 p.m. Tuesday. When Roy Campbell opened the door, he found the baby girl in a stroller and no sign of who had left her.
These are probably my favorite LBJ X’s I’ve seen so far. Check the Carmex logo scribbled on the upper inner ankle. LBJ showed us again why he IS the best in the league and def one of the GOAT against the Knicks, coming through for his team in the clutch w/ a couple clutch 3 pointers, some heavy defence and good passes to seal a 6 point win over Melo & crew. Check the pic of the Nike Lebron James X “Carmex” PE below from the game & stay tuned to MDF for a release date on these.
