Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice was suspended for 3 games and fined $50K by the University Thursday. This is coming directly from the school and not the NCAA itself. The school said the fine and suspension were due to a violation by the coach of the athletic department policy. After a little more digging it appears it has to do with the way he may of been talking and acting towards players in practice.
Tracy McGrady’s team in China, Qingdao Eagles, are 0-7 and he is frustrated. After Beijing’s Ji Zhe hit a 3-pointer he made the mistake of talking sh*t to T-Mac. Zhe gave Tracy the Mutombo finger wag and Tracy didn’t take lightly to it, so he pulled a Metta World Peace and elbowed the crap outta Zhe….and it was all caught on video.

The preseason vote had Oklahoma and Big 12 newcomer West Virginia tied for second, followed by Kansas and Texas. The rest of the picks, in order, were Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Kansas State and TCU.
Oklahoma State last season won the WNIT championship. The Big 12 has ranked No. 1 in conference RPI for the past five seasons.
Even after winning his first NBA championship and third MVP award, LeBron James is not finished tinkering with his game. The Miami Heat star recently revealed that he has spent the offseason working on a hook shot that would diversify his skills in the post and give him yet another option to score.
