(Sports) Video:Stephen A. Smith Caught Saying “N***a Please” on ESPN’s First Take. Is It A Big Deal?!

Earlier today it was reported that Kobe could miss the season opener.  On ESPN’s First Take this morning Stephen A. Smith was discussing Kobe Bryant’s injury and dropped the phrase “N*gga Please.”  It had Twitter buzzing and some people are really upset it. I understand it’s def. not meant for TV, but do you think it’s really a big deal?!  Check out the 2 videos after the jump – the first air and reair with the N- word cut out & let us know what you think…

(Sports) NFL Replacement Officials For Week 1

The NFL will open the regular season with replacement officials. Replacements will be on the field beginning next Wednesday night when the Dallas Cowboys visit the New York Giants to open the season, league executive Ray Anderson told the 32 teams. Negotiations are at a standstill between the NFL and the officials’ union.

(Sports) Jason Terry Studies Ray Allen’s Plays

Boston don’t want another Ray Allen. Terry never going to be the pure shooter Allen has been (who is?) but Terry can create his own shot and do things Allen can’t. And Terry likes being the sixth man, he thrives in that role.

Terry told ESPNBoston.com he has been watching film and learning some of Allen’s plays.
