GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) – North Carolina A&T State University has lifted a lockdown imposed after reports of a man with a rifle on campus.
The university updated its website Friday afternoon to advise students and staff that the lockdown was no longer in effect.
Prior to the lockdown being lifted, A&T spokeswoman Nettie Rowland said no shots had been fired and that police had a description of the suspect.
The historically black college has more than 10,000 students and more than 2,000 employees. Rowland said it also hosts scores of Guilford County high school students who attend an on-campus high school focused on math, science and technology.
As we previously reported, the Miami rapper was targeted by an unknown gunman or gunmen as he was driving Monday morning with his girlfriend. Dozens of shots were reportedly fired at Ross’ Rolls Royce as it was traveling eastbound on Las Olas.
Ross crashed the Rolls into a building trying to escape the gunfire.
TMZ is reporting that the MMG boss has now hired a team of armed security to watch his back 24 hours a day. The rapper has used a security detail in the past at various public functions, but now he’s taken steps to make sure an incident like the one on Monday doesn’t happen again by having bodyguards by his side at all times.
Lol…So Microsoft booked MGK to perform live at one of its stores but then promptly shut it down once MGK started his profanity laced performance. Next time do ya f*ckin’ research before you waste everybody’s time.
