Penny Hardaway’s 1997 OG ‘Dark Neon Royal’ Nike Air Foamposite One is a truly iconic colorway. So this new style pictured above has some huge shoes to fill, but it’s off to a good start. The ‘Sport Royal’ Foamposite One steps outside the classic formula but stops short of going for a graphic treatment, utilizing a Wolf Grey eyestay/tongue/lining setup that really draws your eye to the namesake blue upper. It’s a sign that we’ve really only scratched the surface of what’s possible with the original Foamposite shoe.
This pick of the Red Snake Air Yeezy’s popped up on the internet this past weekend. The grey tape across the toe shows that this is a sample. Could Nike be planning a surprise for sneakerheads for what many considered the best sneaker of 2012? Stay tuned to MDF to find out.
The Hyperposite has been a wildly popular shoe among Nike’s Forwards like Rudy Gay, LaMarcus Aldridge, Al Horford, and more, but even some smaller guards have gotten in the Hyperposite camp (Rondo wearing those Grey/Atomic Green joints). Keep your eye out for the Nike Hyperposite ‘BHM’ during today’s games.
This is kinda like a big deal if you’re a avid Jordan head. The “Nike Air” will be restored to the heal of the Retro 88 III (after a 10 year debate) which is said to be droppin’ in Febuary. Hopefully these will pop up early on Flight Club or AIR Knight……..fingers crossed.
No way at all to go wrong with these. Not only are they OG’s but Melo is having one hell of a season…..besides, these are with a doubt better than ANY sneaker that Carmelo has released under the Jordan brand….get in stores Saturday Jan 5th.
