After droppin’ the glow in the dark junts last Saturday, Jordan goes back to back w/ the 4 retros and drops the “Fear” this Saturday, August 24th. Guess we’ll be seeing alot of these at Soundstage Saturday night. Some dudes just can’t wait to rock their new releases.
Usually the Jordans carrying the “Playoffs” nickname were ones that led to an eventual championship for Mike for the post-season in which they were originally rocked. The Air Jordan VIII shown here of course fits that bill, being the shoe that His Airness had on feet during the third installment of his initial triple. The shoes currently have a June 15th release date attached, one which will be preceded by a similarly colored Air Jordan 1 ’93.
Penny Hardaway’s 1997 OG ‘Dark Neon Royal’ Nike Air Foamposite One is a truly iconic colorway. So this new style pictured above has some huge shoes to fill, but it’s off to a good start. The ‘Sport Royal’ Foamposite One steps outside the classic formula but stops short of going for a graphic treatment, utilizing a Wolf Grey eyestay/tongue/lining setup that really draws your eye to the namesake blue upper. It’s a sign that we’ve really only scratched the surface of what’s possible with the original Foamposite shoe.
These Easters were crafted by DMC Kicks from the LBJ X Prism’s in honor of last week’s Bunny Rabbit holiday. Dope as hell! Very inventive. Colors are fresh as hell!
LeBron James’ love for the Fruity Pebbles cereal has transformed itself into a pair of LeBron IVs before, resulting in one of the most hunted LeBron sneakers in history. The Miami Heat star just gave another product his co-sign, but instead of a fruity breakfast cereal, he’s directing his props with the quote “Yellow means caution” to Carmex, a brand known for their effective lip balms. This Nike LeBron X ‘Carmex’ features a tonal yellow upper with red and black trimmings around the shoe that matches the product’s casing, although it’s not known if these are a true collaboration, an upcoming release, or just another variation of a Miami Heat colorway that just so happens to fit the Carmex bill. Peep the full shot below and we’ll throw you some updates when they develop.
Before Barkley was making us laugh w/ his marble mouth filled commentarty, he was a very athletic big guy on the court in Pheonix. And before that, he was a Philly 76er wearing some kicks something like these….only w/ out the posite matierial and not quite as fresh. But these will be releasing later this year, or if you can wait, a few are available on ebay from PRC.Kicks.
